ZEISS Secacam 5 is a compact trail camera for hunting, nature observation, and object monitoring, delivering detailed, high-contrast photos and videos during the day and in complete darkness. Its infrared flash with 60 black LEDs and highly light-sensitive CMOS sensor enable sharply captured, well-illuminated images even without ambient light. The compact, lightweight housing allows the camera to be installed in tight spaces, trees, bushes, and other difficult-to-access locations.

Product description

Setting up the ZEISS Secacam 5 does not require extensive technical knowledge. The camera can be secured using a strap, cable lock, or tripod thread. The strap, cable lock, and tripod thread are not included. Thanks to Plug-and-Play functionality, the camera can be put into operation immediately after installation. Intelligent default settings are designed for most applications, while the large color display and backlit keys make it easy to change settings when required.

After installation, connect the camera to the ZEISS Secacam App using the activation code included with the camera. Once connected, the app allows you to manage the wildlife camera and share access with contacts. It also provides camera status information such as battery level, shows the camera location on a map, and provides access to the image gallery.

The modern LTE module with integrated Multi-Roaming SIM can connect to networks from a wide range of providers and automatically select the best available network at the installation location. The camera can transmit data in 35 countries, including Switzerland, Norway, and the UK.

The highly sensitive motion sensor precisely detects animal movement. When triggering, the camera automatically adjusts the flash power. The black LEDs produce illumination that is invisible to animals and humans, helping to prevent incorrect exposure and reduce energy consumption.

The software at the heart of the ZEISS Secacam system is developed in Germany. Data is stored using ZEISS's own cloud technology and is subject to strict EU data protection regulations, helping protect personal information and camera data against unauthorized access or misuse.

To use all functions of the wildlife camera, including sending photos and videos, temporary cloud storage, animal detection, and theft protection, a separate service contract is required. Availability of the relevant functions depends on the selected tariff.
