Friction system Deluxe

The new friction system makes precise positioning and tracking of astronomical objects even easier. Instead of cheaper Teflon pads, the axles are equipped with needle bearings on the azimuth axis and ball bearings on the high axis. This makes navigating with the telescope much easier, and it will follow your directions “as smooth as butter” in any direction. The advantage is that you can keep astronomical objects in sight much more easily - even at high magnifications, and this advantage cannot be overstated! The friction setting can be easily adjusted to suit your requirements using two aluminum manual adjusters.

Focus is more easily adjustable

Another advantage of the friction system is that the telescope's center of gravity is more adjustable, which avoids the situation when using a heavy eyepiece where the system can become unbalanced and topple to the side.

Main mirror with 94% reflective coating for brighter images

The Dobson Telescope is an expert in deep space observation. Just a quiet, unobtrusive hum, but with great effect - the built-in 12V fan means your main mirror will cool down 50% faster. This allows your telescope to achieve optimal image quality faster. So you don't have to wait that long anymore.

2-inch Crayford focuser

Use 1.25 "or 2" larger eyepieces for stunning visual observations. Ball bearings allow for smooth focusing of objects.
