A 14-inch aperture provides enormous light-gathering capability while remaining manageably portable. Collecting 36% more light than a 12-inch model, this difference is immediately noticeable at the eyepiece. Under favorable atmospheric conditions, almost all objects in the NGC catalogue become observable, while planets reveal intricate details such as Saturn's ring divisions and up to half a dozen of its moons.

Featuring an aperture ratio of f/4.5 (f/4.9) and a finely adjustable 2-inch Crayford focuser with 1:10 dual-speed reduction, this telescope is suitable for capturing brighter astronomical objects. Utilizing a DSLR camera requires an additional camera-specific T2 ring adapter.
