The adapter attaches to the Sony NEX camera bayonet in the same way as a lens, after which a lens or device with a T-mount is screwed into the adapter's thread.

Product description

The adapter allows various optical devices and lenses equipped with a T-mount to be used with Sony NEX cameras. Once the adapter is mounted on the camera bayonet, a lens or other device with a T2 thread is screwed directly into the adapter.

Sharpness and aperture are set manually on the lens in most cases. The exposure time can be set manually on the camera in manual mode or automatically in Av mode, depending on the camera model.
