Description:

The AP 130/910 optic is a triplet lens with 130 mm aperture and 910 mm focal length. It fulfills the criteria of a full apo. Even at magnifications around 450x the image is free of disturbing chromatic aberrations. Even bright stars are displayed on astrophotos without disturbing blue fringes.

The central element of the lens consists of the optical glass FPL55, which is comparable to the well-known FPL53. Another special glass supports the color correction. The triplet lens with air gap is fully adjustable. Each optical glass air surface is multi-coated. The lens is in a temperature compensated mount.

3.7" Rack&Pinion Eyepiece Extension: The large focuser is optimized for photography and supports a payload of up to 8 kg - quite sufficient for heavy cameras with accessories! Several internal threads are available for screwed adaptations, especially for the image field correctors (flatteners) from the accessory recommendation. The focuser also offers 360° rotation for selecting the correct image section.

The generous working distance (backfocus) of 140 millimeters from the 2" extension tube is suitable for almost all applications. A removable segment between the focuser and tube can even extend the distance to 240 millimeters. This allows, for example, binocular approaches to be used without additional path compensation.
