The Levenhuk New Skyline PLUS 6" telescope is a powerful Newtonian reflector for deep-sky observation from the countryside. With its 152mm aperture and 1200mm focal length, it opens up the beauty of our Solar System and deep space. You can see detailed lunar mountains and craters (just 3km across), Saturn”s cloud belts, details in Jupiter”s bands, asteroids and comets, a wealth of nebulae, and even traces of a spiral structure in the brightest galaxies. The optical tube is mounted on a Dobsonian base. This design ensures comfortable observations with easy pointing and tracking, making the telescope well-suited even for beginners.
The telescope”s key advantage is its refined internal optical system that ensures exceptional image clarity and stability. Its optical elements are made of BK-7 glass. The telescope”s primary mirror has a parabolic shape. It gathers scattered light rays onto a single point, eliminates spherical aberration, and maintains image clarity at any magnification. The telescope features aluminum-coated mirrors that reflect up to 85% of incoming light, providing excellent brightness for most amateur observations.
The stable Dobsonian mount is designed for ease of use: it is simple to assemble, requires no adjustment, and is operated entirely manually. Its precision mechanics allow for smooth, responsive manual tracking while maintaining solid stability. Featuring a 2" rack-and-pinion focuser (with a 1.25" adapter included), the telescope offers maximum versatility for using a wide range of eyepieces and other optical accessories.
The Levenhuk New Skyline PLUS 6" comes with essential astronomy accessories to enhance your observations: 10mm and 25mm Plössl eyepieces (1.25") and a red dot finder. The telescope can be used in temperatures ranging from −5°C to +35°C. The Dobsonian mount is made of strong, high-quality, and comprehensively treated wood. This guarantees it will serve you for many years, regardless of how often you use it.
