High quality metal OTA with excellent processing The telescope's OTA offers you a sound introduction to a fascinating hobby. No cheap plastic, but metal together with excellent workmanship. This is an important prerequisite in the world of telescopes as it ensures you will continue enjoying your observing for many years to come. BK7 glass primary mirror The centrepiece is the main mirror, which is made from BK7 glass. In contrast to 'ordinary' glass, this offers a more stable shape during the cool-down phase, and that means a better image, even if the OTA has not yet completely equalised to the outside temperature. Enhanced coating - 94% reflection for bright pictures When you dive into the depths of space, you can see objects with your telescope that would never be visible to the unaided naked eye.
